This is the perfect learning station/center activity for kinders!
They will match lowercase letters to uppercase letters then match the picture to the beginning sound. I've chosen appealing pictures that kinders will easily recognize.
If your kinders are like mine, they need a lot of practice with this!
I hope you enjoy!
Keywords: Alphabet matching, letter recognition, initial sounds, beginning sounds.
I wish I had this activity when my own kids were learning the states and capitals! In this activity, students will match the states with their capitals using flashcards (and practicing ABC order!). There are also a take home study sheet, a quiz, and an answer key. You supply a U.S. Map. I hope this helps your students learn their capitals and makes the process more enjoyable!!
**Make two sets of the state/capital flashcards and have the kids play a matching game!
