I've had the pleasure of teaching in some wonderful schools over the past five years. I had an awesome experience working in a Montessori school shortly after graduating from college. After that I moved to Hawaii and taught special education for one semester, working with students with autism in K-5. Then I spent two years teaching in a mixed junior k/kindergarten inclusion classroom in Hawaii! I'll be starting at a brand new school in New York this fall and I'm SO excited to get back into the classroom!

My own education history
I earned my B.A. in Early Childhood Education from Hofstra University in 2009. I'm received my Master's Degree in Literacy at Teachers College Columbia University. I'm also certified in Special Education!
