In this Google Form Escape, students will practice solving quadratic equations by factoring to help Harry the hamster escape the zombie school. There are 16 practice problems with varying difficulties. Answering all questions correctly will help Harry the hamster to escape from a zombie infected school.
Students will practice 4 questions each of classifying polynomials, adding/subtracting polynomials, multiplying a monomial and polynomial, and multiplying binomials/trinomials. Answering all questions correctly will help Harry the hamster to escape from a zombie infected school.
Students will solve a crime by identifying domain and rangeidentifying functions given a graph (using vertical line test), table, mapping, and list of ordered pairs
For use with ETA VersaTiles, page one provides students with practice writing an equation in slope-intercept form from a table of values. This was great practice in my own classroom - my students love VersaTiles!
For use with ETA VersaTiles, page one provides students with practice matching standard form to the slop-intercept form of an equation. Page two provides students with practice finding the slope of an equation in standard form. This was great practice in my own classroom - my students love VersaTiles!
For use with VersaTiles. Provides 2 sets of 12 practice problems solving systems of equations by elimination with addition and subtraction. The answers are provided at the bottom of the page, with the puzzle code.
For use with VersaTiles. Students will practice writing the equation of a line in slope-intercept form (y = mx + b) by matching the correct equation with the graph.
There are 20 different research topic tasks included for students to find information in standard form and then write the numbers in scientific notation. Topics include planets, countries, continents, and bodies of water.
Students will solve equations, and then match the solutions in the puzzle at the bottom of the page to find out the answer to the riddle "Why do birds fly South in the winter?"
Students practice solving equations with variables on each side. When all the of the equations have been solved, the answer to the question "Why did the cat go to sleep in the fireplace?" will be answered in the puzzle at the bottom of the page.
For use with VersaTiles. Provides practice with solving f(x)=g(x), solving using substitution, and solving using elimination. Allows students to check their answers when they are finished.
