Engage your students in the meaning of Thanksgiving by having them read a short passage about the holiday. Then, they will go back into the text to find evidence to answer each question. They will need crayons to highlight the evidence they find before writing their answers.

I teach in a small school system in North Carolina. Love nature, photography, and technology. During the summer, I can be found relaxing in the sun on the beautiful shores of the Outer Banks.
I also find that I have a deep passion for creating units to use in my classroom and also find it helpful to share with my TpT friends. My children will often ask, "Did you make this?" and they always seemed to be more interested in what they are doing when my answer is "yes."
