About the store

Experience

I'm a middle school science teacher in a 1:1 device district. Much like most of you, I have experience with students of all ability levels in my classroom. My classroom is founded on inclusion, mutual respect, hard work, controlled chaos, and above all --- kindness.

Teaching style

My focus is always on students. Middle school means I spend about 80% of the time teaching life&social skills and about 20% of the time actually teaching science. My classroom is very much like a zoo, with me as the zookeeper. Just trying to have fun, learn a little, and help my animals stay happy&healthy.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Education is about being a team... awards and recognition is great, but I'd rather spend my time focusing on the team as a whole. :)

Additional biographical information

Here's the gist of it... sassy teacher. mad scientist. forever learner. passionate adventurer. ambitious go getter.
