Math Reference Sheet for Interactive Notebooks
Interactive Notebooks have become a HUGE part of my teaching style. I really wanted a reference sheet for the students to place in the back of their INB. I wanted them to be able to refer to some of the basic skills and more advanced skills, if needed.
For the INB, I used them as follows:
- Printed out the pages on half sheets.
- Cut all of the half sheets out, but leaving the white space at the top.
- Stapled on the white space.
- Glued onto last page of INB.

Interactive Notebook Starter Kit
Hello!
I decided to combine several of the INB products into one starter kit.

Fraction, Decimal, & Percent Polling Project
Hi everyone!
The Fraction, Decimal, & Percent (FDP) Polling Project is a way for students to practice their skills in converting fractions to decimals to percent.
Students will create a question of their own choosing with answer choices. They will poll students (I usually pick 50 students) and gather their data. They will put the data into a chart and convert between fraction, decimal, and percent. They will write a summary based upon their results.

7th Grade Math Vocabulary & Glossary for Interactive Notebook
The 7th Grade Math Vocabulary and Glossary contains over 100 terms and definitions based on the 7th grade Common Core Standards.
In my classroom, I will be having the students glue this into the back of their Interactive Notebook and they will add in the page numbers as we move through the year.
To make it fit in the Interactive Notebook, I usually print it two per page. This way, the students can fit it into their notebook and glue the blank side into it.

Percent Project
During this unit, I have been trying to implement projects to create a curriculum that is rigorous and relevant to my students. In this project, the students will poll a minimum of 25 people, organize the data based upon fractions, decimals, and percents, create a hypothesis, and organize the data and their findings in a poster and one-page summary.

I LOVE task cards! I use them SO much!

Math About Me - Beginning of the Year Activity
Hello!
I created this “Math About Me” activity as a beginning of the school year and INB set up activity.
In my classroom, I will print this front to back so that it is on one paper. I will have the students complete the questions on the first day of class. They will then use the grid on the back to create a graphic organizer of some of the questions.

Exit Slips
Hi there!
In my classroom, I use these exit slips at the end of the period. I print these slips out on green, yellow, and red paper. The students choose which color they feel represents their level of understanding for the day. If they understood the material, they would choose the green card. If they understood some, they would choose the yellow. If they need help, they would choose the red card. The students finish the sentences on the exit slips and turn them in at the end of class.

Create Your Own Equations Book Project
One of my goals this year in my Math 7 courses was to get my students writing. I really wanted them to be able to understand and be able to explain what they were learning.
In this project, the students are creating their own Mini-Textbook. I supplied the paper needed to complete this activity. I bought white 8.5x11 inch paper and colored 8.5x11 inch cardstock. I gave each group 5-7 pieces of white paper and one cardstock paper. The students folded the papers in half (hamburger style!) and

Geometry Terms - Insert for Interactive Notebook
Geometry has SO many terms. Initially, I was feeling a little overwhelmed with having my students write down all of these terms. I knew they would burn out and I would burn out. In addition, my 7th grade classes were already very familiar with these terms. Which is why I created this insert!

Assignment Tracker
Last year, I began implementing assignment trackers into my classroom. The students had a "Score Tracker" in their interactive notebooks and would log their homework, quiz, test, and project grades. It worked really well but this year I have bigger and better plans!

The Real Number System Foldable with Venn Diagrams
Hello!
I used this foldable in our Interactive Notebooks. I used it as an enrichment for the Real Number System to try to get the students to understand the similarities and differences between the many terms.
The two pages must be printed front to back and students will cut along the dotted lines to create two foldables.

I have been teaching for four years and have had the wonderful experience of teaching many grade levels of Math, as well as Science and Latin. (I know...Latin is a bit random.) I LOVE teaching! It is my favorite thing to do. Even in the summers, my mind is constantly spinning over the things that I need to do for the next year to make my classroom an enjoyable and educational experience for my students.
Although being a teacher is a HUGE part of my life, I also have a personal life. I have been happily married for two years. My husband and I haven't quite made the leap to have our own children yet, but it will happen one day!
