In the past, I used something similar (strips of construction paper) to motivate my students to buy-in to our district tests. These are a lot cuter. During the test, I just walk around and stamp, or place a sticker, on their slip if I see them using a good testing strategy. Students with ten stickers at the end of testing received a reward.
