Teaching style
Learning through play is what we do!
My PreK classroom is set up in learning centers which is the substancial portion of our day. Our learning centers available are: science and exploration, math and manipulatives, building blocks, library and quiet area, writing center, computers and technology, and dramatic play which I change on a monthly basis based on the theme we are studying and the students' interest and season.
Awards & shining teacher moments
In 2007 I earned the PRIDE AWARD which is an award given to the teacher of the year.

My own education history
I spent my primary years in public school, moving into private Catholic school for middle and high school.
Once in college I started out in Accounting....which I quickly changed! Years later I successfully completed a double BA in Management and Social Studies, two years later I earned my Masters degree in Early Childhood Education.
I am very close to achieve my second Masters degree and credential program with multiple subject credential. My ultimate goal is to teach Transitional Kindergarten which I have since 2024!
