Each year we read "It Looked Like Spilt Milk" in our sky unit since it has great predictable text. After reading it, we create this class book by going outside, looking for clouds that resemble other things, and taking pictures of the clouds. I then print the pictures and give them to the children to use on their page. They then fill in the blanks to complete the sentences and I bind all the pages into a book to be placed in our library!

Students will love these magnet activities! First, they get to walk around the room with a magnet and a clipboard with the recording sheet. This is a very simple assessment that I have used a few times in my classroom to determine if my students could both count and write numbers 0-20. The students are given the paper and a test divider (so they don't look at their neighbor's paper). All they need to do is count the frogs and write that number in the space to the right. Thanks!
