Numerous Environmental Workshops conducted by GLOBE

Additional biographical information

1.I have used my experience as a mother, teacher, doctor and member of parliament to lobby for policies in civil society and government that lead to healthy lifestyles, respect for the environment, use of renewable energy to comabt global warming, job creation, preservation of indigenous culture and sustainable development. I have directed projects with underpriveleged persons to these ends. 2.I promote responsible use of alternative medicine alongside conventional, and work as a Homeopath as well as an Allopath 3.I was elected to represent South AFrica on the steering committee of REEEP in 2005 ( Renewbale Energy and Energy Efficiency Programmes) an international body set up to deal with the effects of climate change after the Wordl Summit for Sustainable Devlopment. 4.I am actively invloved in renewable energy programmes and a member of the e-parliament dealing with such.
