Student Behavior Notice is given to students who made poor choices in class that day. It is a quick fill in where students write their name, the date, check the behavior they struggled with, write what they will do to change the behavior, and places for signatures.
It is easy to complete and easy to understand.
A great method for quickly checking students understanding of a topic or objective is using the Exit Ticket! Students can quickly and easily fill this out in the last few minutes of class. They turn it in to you as they walk out the door, and then you can check who gets it and who needs a little extra help!
Working in groups is a great way for students to learn, however, sometimes things get out of hand OR one student is doing the majority of the work. Assigning students roles to do while working in groups can help the students that tend to get distracted in groups, the ones doing most of the work, and the ones who let others do the work.
The Student Behavior Chart is an easy classroom management template that allows teachers to easily document students' behaviors for the week, whether good or bad. There is room for 20 students names OR using the colored rows to allow more space there is room for 10 students names.
This chart has a column for each day of the week where a teacher can easily write down notes of praise or issues to be addressed for a later date.
These are two easy to easy self assessment charts for ANY topic! Choose one to give students after a lesson or unit so they can check their own knowledge.
Teachers can keep this in the students portfolio and use it to help check understanding on state objectives!
All teachers have to keep detailed records of the objectives they teach and how many students have achieved this objectives. The Objective Checklist makes that simple!
Just fill in the students name down the left hand side and the state objective number or abbreviated name along the top to get started. Put a check mark by the students name in the objective's column when they have reached the goal. An at a glance sheet showing what objectives have been taught and who has achieved them!
There will be times that students are late to class. Here is a quick fill in so they do not interrupt your class explaining why they are late and asking what they missed.
Place this near or one the door with a pen so students can fill it in immediately.
This is a book journal prompt for older students. This journal is two sided with the student's response to the book written on the right.
