I am currently an active classroom teacher, as I have been for the past 28 years! I am teaching 4th grade at the moment, but I have taught everything from grades 2 to 5 in my years in education. I have spent most of my years in the upper grades, and consider that my expertise. I am Nationally Board Certified, a master teacher, and have my Masters in Education. These mats are designed to be an easy, quiet brain break for the students when they are stuck indoors on those rainy Spring days. Three of the mats are filled with puzzles that the students can complete individually or in pairs. One is left blank to allow for free drawing or the creation of their own puzzles. Teaching style

I believe my role in the class should be to impart new knowledge, and the students should be doing everything else. I train my students to be as self-sufficient as possible so that they gain the most out of my class. My motto is, if I am the only one working, I am the only learning...so let's let the kids work and learn!
