I LOVE to get students and families excited about learning and exploring all that they can and do in Kindergarten.

Awards & shining teacher moments

Currently I am the grade level chair and one of six teacher leaders for the school. I have gone before the school board for our county and helped to bring a phonics and phonological awareness program to our county.

My own education history

I graduated from Elon University in 2006 with a major in Elementary Education, and a minor in History and Psychology. I plan to go back and start my Masters within the next 2 to 3 years.
