Description

This document is a graphic organizer to be use while showing a documentary on the JonBenet Ramsey murder case. I used the 20/20 special in my Forensic Science class, but this worksheet is generic and there are several options for the choice of media. While this organizer can technically be used for any crime video, as it asks for a list of suspects and supporting evidence, it also asks for mistakes made throughout the investigation, which were plentiful in that particular case.

As an editable word document, you can change the wording to fit your class or the crime being studied. This would also be a great worksheet for the OJ Simpson murder case, etc.

My forensic science class always gets excited to study the Jon Benet Ramsey case. They get very involved and start forming strong opinions which they are happy to discuss. This resource really challenged them to take a step back and look at everything before trying to form some type of conclusion. I was very happy with how this resource fit in with this unit of instruction. Thank you!

My Forensics kids are very interested in the JonBenet story. What I thought would be a 1 day video/discussion turned into multiple days so we used this resource!
