Description

Muscular System Note taker is a low prep and engaging science activity to use when teaching about the human body. This booklet is meant to be used with your science program on the muscular system. Students can use information from their science resources, websites, and videos to complete the note taker. The pages act as graphic organizers.

Teachers can also use it as a way to help students organize the information they are learning about the muscular system. It would make a great study tool to help students prepare for their end of unit assessment. It could also be used as a form of assessment.

Includes detailed answer keys. Curriculum varies from country to country so you may wish to make changes. Please email me at janefeener@gmail.com if you have any questions. See the preview to see what is included.

To create the booklet:

Print pages 4-11

Cut each page in half and place in the correct order.

Staple on the left hand side, and you’re ready to

start learning about the muscular system.

You can buy this system and others in my human body system bundle.

This book is great! I have students work in groups to complete the book while they are researching. Students tend to get confused by a few of the pages since there aren't written directions on them. I think if you did it whole group there would be no problem, but I'd like to see a version that includes pages that lend themselves to independent/groupwork and have a bit more directions per page.

I had my 6th graders create this booklet after our muscular system unit. It was an awesome way for them to review information they'd learned. Thank you!
