Description

The COPS acronym (standing for Capitalization, Organization, Punctuation, and Spelling) is an engaging tool designed to help students effectively edit their writing!

My students responded so well to the COPS acronym that I created a bulletin board kit to feature it. Students refer to these posters often during writer's workshop!

The Following Materials are Included in this Set:

★ Single Page COPS Poster

★ Half-page COPS strip

★ COPS editing checklist (two slightly different versions, each offered with a choice of clipart)

★ COPS peer review checklist (two slightly different versions, each offered with a choice of clipart)

★ Three posters with various wording relating to capitalization

★ Two posters with various wording relating to organization

★ Two posters for the letter P, with the focus on punctuation or creating work to be proud of

★ Two posters with various wording relating to spelling

★ A poster saying, "Do your very best!"

★ A poster saying, "Write your name on your paper."

★ A poster saying, "Edit your work!"

★ A poster saying, "Keep on writing throughout Writer's Workshop."

★ A poster saying, "Is this your best effort?"

★ Four different versions of pennants for use as bulletin board headers

A black and white version is offered for all materials in this set.
