Description

Want an easy stand-alone environmental Earth Day Science lesson? This interactive and fun science activity will have students participate in a classroom survey about ways they can impact the environment. They will use their math skills to tally the responses on the data recording sheets. Tally marks, labels, and recording sheets are included to record the results of the survey. Students will then watch a short slide show(4 slides) about the ways they can positively impact the environment. After watching the slide show, students will complete the graphic organizer and use a differentiated writing activity to identify ways they can positively impact the environment. This resource provides the same grade-level content but has a differentiated writing component. The writing component is differentiated for Beginners (students that are still learning to write sentences and putting their thoughts on paper), Practice level (students that are starting to write simple sentences but still need help), and Advanced level, for students that can generate and write sentences with phonetic spelling).

What is included:

· There are 4 color slides(slideshow)that give information or talking points about how the students can have a positive impact on the environment.
