Description
This math activity is great for early learners that are practicing counting and recognizing numbers 0-10. You can cute up the pieces for a matching game or keep the numbers whole and have the students put the counting hands, dots or pictures on top of the mat. You can add to the rigor of the assignment by using the mixed up number match.
I like to put the matching pieces in beans or rice as a sensory activity. They find the dots, counting hands or pictures and place them on top of the numeral page. I laminate them to use them over and over again. This is a super engaging activity that gives your students hands on learning experiences.
There is a colored picture option as well as a black and white picture option for all your classroom needs! I also included a blank template that you can add your own matching set for flexibility within your classroom!
