14 Random Writing Prompts will inspire students to write creative short stories and flash fiction in various genres. The writing prompts can be used in any order. The slides can be tailored for students who are GATE-identified, have an IEP, are second-language learners, or are gen ed.

Over time, your students will have many short stories or beginnings of stories that they can develop.  Students enjoy writing this way--it’s low pressure, it’s dynamic, they have a choice, and it’s fun.
