Description
This grammar pack gives adult ESL students structured, level-differentiated practice with subject and object pronouns. This is the kind of focused, no-nonsense resource that gets through the confusion without padding it out.
Pronoun errors are persistent. This pack addresses that directly, with two skill levels and a range of exercise types so students aren't just drilling one pattern until they go numb. Level A keeps the focus on direct objects for students who need a solid foundation. Level B extends into indirect objects and objects of prepositions for students who are ready to go further. Every worksheet comes with an answer key, which makes this easy to use for self-study, homework, or in-class practice when a sub is running things.
One deliberate design choice worth noting: this pack avoids assigning pronouns to names. When students see "Noor called him," they may not know which pronoun fits Noor, and that's a distraction from the grammar itself. Here, pronouns are practiced in contexts where the correct form is clear from the sentence, not from guessing at a name's gender. The only exceptions are names paired with titles like "Mr." or "Ms.", which teach students how to read context clues.

THIS IS DESIGNED FOR YOUR ADULT ESL STUDENTS
Everything in this pack was written with adult students in mind. That means no childish scenarios, no condescending explanations, and nothing that feels like it belongs in a middle school workbook.
The materials work just as well with mature secondary ESL students who need the same solid foundation in subject and object pronouns. And if you teach mature secondary native English speakers who have grammar gaps to fill, this pack gives them clear, rigorous practice without talking down to them.
