Description
This packet contains 16 different Scoot games covering many of the common core math standards for 1st grade. Check it out below!
Do you know what Scoot is? It’s a whole class activity to review all those standards and skills you want your kiddos to know! And it involves constant movement! Don’t know how to play? No problem! Head on over to my freebie here to find out.
Included in this 106 page packet are:
- Directions for playing Scoot
- A generic Scoot template that can be used for each game
- Word Problem Scoot {Meets standard 1.OA.1}
- Adding 3 Numbers Scoot {Meets standard 1.OA.2}
- Properties of Operations Scoot {Meets standard 1.OA.3}
- Properties of Operations 2 Scoot {Meets standard 1.OA.4}
- Add and Subtract Within 20 Scoot {Meets standard 1.OA.6}
- True and False Equations Scoot {Meets standard 1.OA.7}
- Determine the Unknown Number Scoot {Meets standard 1.OA.8}
- Count to 120 Scoot {Meets standard 1.NBT.1}
- Place Value to 99 Scoot {Meets standard 1.NBT.2}
- Comparing Numbers Scoot {Meets standard 1.NBT.3}
- Add Numbers Within 100 Scoot {Meets standard 1.NBT.4}
- 10 More, 10 Less Scoot {Meets standard 1.NBT.5}
- Subtracting Multiples of 10 Scoot {Meets standard 1.NBT.6}
- Tell Time to the Nearest Half Hour Scoot {Meets standard 1.MD.3}
- Shapes Scoot {Meets standard 1.G.2} (Because of the similar standards, this contains similarities to the 2nd Grade version)
- Fractional Parts Scoot {Meets standard 1.G.3} (Because of the similar standards, this contains similarities to the 2nd Grade version)
- 6 "Take a Break" Cards that can be used many times (Almost identical to the 2nd Grade version)
Each activity includes 20 game cards. I am fully aware that not every classroom is lucky enough to have 20 students! To solve this, there are 6 "Take a Break" cards included that can be used as many times as you need (these aren't recorded onto the recording sheet). Also, there are 4 blank cards with each game if you would like to create your own (there is also a different recording sheet to include 4 extra boxes), so you can have 30+ students and still play this game.
Each activity has the same template and design, but obviously the content changes!
