Description
Students will work in groups of 4 and use readings on Jamestown to discover the decisions colonists made at four turning points in Jamestown’s development. For each reading, students identify the decisions colonists made, the year they made them and match a piece of art that reflects those decisions. In a processing activity, students create 4 screenshots for a proposed educational game on the iPad where players can choose what Jamestown colonists should do during each of the years that the students read about using the alternative actions the groups came up with in their notes.
