Finding 10 More and 10 Less - First Grade Math Center Task Cards

These 24 Task Cards are a great addition to any center and will easily engage your young learners. All the task cards are geared around quickly finding 10 more or 10 less of any given 2-digit number. You could easily cut out and laminate these cards, then add a tub of legos™ to create a complete, hands-on center. These cards are lego-themed to help add engagement for your students.

Kid-Friendly Recording Sheets and Answer Sheets are included, as well as a black and white copy of the task cards. I have also included lego "ten frames" and "ones" that you can print and cut out for students if real legos are unavailable, or if they need extra help. I have also included 4 basic anchor charts to help your students remember the meanings of each symbol.

These task cards align with Common Core Standard 1.NBT.5:

Given a two-digit number, mentally find 10 more or 10 less than the number, without having to count; explain the reasoning used.
