This is one SMARTBoard Lesson with printables for teaching ten more and ten less. This lesson involves using dice and base ten blocks to create and solve problems. The lesson includes a work mat and recording sheet to print for each child to practice independently.

I created this lesson to introduce the Common Core Standard 1.NBT.5 - given a two-digit number, mentally find 10 more or 10 less than the number, without having to count.
