Are you looking for an easy way to help your first-grade students make sense of the first-grade mathematics they are learning—while seeing how mathematical concepts fit together in meaningful ways to solve real-world problems? Do you want them to develop efficient strategies without having to spend extra time planning lessons yourself? The DEEP Math program is a year-long, standards-aligned curriculum designed with exactly that in mind. Each lesson takes approximately one class period to complete and includes step-by-step directions, engaging discussions, a focus lesson, guided practice, and independent work. Every set of five lessons also includes a quiz to assess student understanding.
