I have included 20 word problems in a variety of problem types (result unknown, change unknown, start unknown and comparison) with sums within 20, but because the problems are editable, you can use this pack year after year with a variety of year levels!
The EDITABLE Teaching Slides includes:
- 20 editable word problems ready to go. You can change the numbers, names or even the problem type by typing directly in the text box on each slide.
- INCLUDES 20+ blank editable templates for you to customize however you wish! Add in your own problems and copy and paste the math tools you want to use to solve them.
- Each side has 2-3 teaching tools ready to go. Use the tools to model to your class how to solve the problem.
- The teaching tools are COMPLETELY EDITABLE. You can delete or copy and paste any of the tools onto any slide to differentiate for your students and the problem solving strategy you are focusing on.
- Teaching tools include: moveable linking cubes, a cross image for subtraction, 10-frames, double 10-frames, number lines to 10 and 20, number paths to 10 and 20, part-part-whole model, number bond and number sentence. There is also the answer written in a sentence on each slide.
- 8 different student work mats (also editable) so that students can follow along with you. As students gain confidence and independence, they can solve on their work mat to share with the class.
- This product is designed to be used in Edit mode on PowerPoint.
