It includes both hands-on activities and print-and-go pages to use in your classroom. This resource was originally designed to supplement McGraw Hill Reading Wonders for first grade, but its name was changed due to MH trademarks. Click here to view the scope & sequence that the Reading Wonders series follows. However, these activities can be used in conjunction with any other reading series as well.

This resource is meant to to supplement a reading curriculum (Reading Wonders or otherwise) by providing students with activities to practice the following skills:

• context clues
• sight words
• vocabulary

The sight words and vocabulary from Reading Wonders Unit 5, Week 1 are included, but don't worry if you don't use Reading Wonders! There are editable versions of these activities so that you can add in your own words.
