The 3 complete formal lessons are rigorous, reflect best practices, and are perfect for your observation or to introduce/review solving story problems, surveys & graphs, and counting on a number line/hundreds chart.

Use the lessons as an intro to or a review of different counting/addition/subtraction strategies. Lesson plans include Common Core Objective, Anticipatory Set (accessing prior knowledge), Active Participation with activities, Assessment with Sample Essential Questions, Closure with activities, and a formative assessment for the story problems lesson.

Problems include result unknown, change unknown, difference unknown, whole unknown, start unknown, and join result unknown. Edit the plans/problems to fit your class skill level. File includes a blank number line template for numbers 0-20.

File also includes 6 versions of the Number of the Day as well (these are great for your math interactive notebooks) - I use one everyday with my own class!!! It also comes with a "How to" on using your number of the day effectively, to increase math scores!!!
