"Having a daily review is a lifesaver. I made them into booklets that my students grab when they are finished their work. I like that there are things that we have covered and things that I can use as a challenge."

Description

Teach all 1st grade math standards with these weekly math spiral review and daily math warm up sheets. Plus, we've included a review quiz for each week! First grade students will use this one-page weekly math skill sheet to practice basic facts, place value, geometry, graphing, and so much more!

These can be printed OR used as digital resources in Google Slides or Google Classroom.

With your busy classroom schedules, it can be hard to fit in every single math standard with so little time. Oftentimes scripted math curriculum or district pacing guides teach something at the beginning of the year and then your students NEVER get to review it again. By the end of the year, they forgot the skill. Ever felt that way? That’s why you need these weekly spiral math review sheets!

>>> If you teach 2nd grade, click here!

Using the outline of skills for each set of 4 weeks, students will complete a small set of problems, and it will only take them about 5-7 minutes (or less) to complete. This will give you a chance to review critical 1st grade math skills, while still following any mandated curriculum or pacing you may be required to follow.

Each day of the week has a special skill for the month. For example: Math Facts Monday, Telling Time Tuesday, Figure It Out Friday, etc. Each week of spiral review fits on one page.

Here’s what you’ll get in this resource:

  • A one-page, quick reference guide for the year that outlines all of the skills for 1st grade math
  • 44 weeks of spiral review/warm-ups
  • 44 half-page weekly spiral review quizzes
  • Answer keys for every week
  • Digital version available in Google Slides / Google Classroom

I am convinced that first graders need practice with foundational skills. Our curriculum does not have spiral review and it was a huge gap. I love the scope & sequence. They layout is very clean and easy to follow. It made a consistent routine for our class. I also love that it helps make sure all standards are taught & practiced.

I have used this project everyday all school year. It has been a perfect way to keep reviewing all math skills. We do it the last 10 minutes of our day and the kids are so independent at this point. I will repeat this next year!

This spiral review is a great resource for daily math practice in 1st grade. The warm-up activities are quick, meaningful, and perfect for reinforcing previously taught skills. It works well for morning work, review, or quick assessments. A helpful way to keep math skills fresh throughout the year!
