This Escape the Numeromystical Hall Escape Room activity is designed to keep your students engaged and active in learning during math class.

You can use it to review or as a sub plan and have them LOVE every second of your math class.

  • A story page to draw students into the task and make them excited to put on their problem solving hat
  • A key collection sheet to track their task progress
  • Task 1: A maze with both addition and subtraction practice to unlock their first key
  • Task 2: A code breaker activity with both addition and subtraction practice to unlock their second key
  • Task 3: A coloring/matching activity with both addition and subtraction practice to unlock their third key
  • Task 4: A maze with both addition and subtraction practice to unlock their fourth key
  • Each task asks them to solve a riddle to unlock the reward i.e. key.
  • Answer Keys

How it works?

  1. You can give each task to a single student or make them work on it as a team to earn the keys.
  2. If they are able to finish one you give them the key they have unlocked to paste on their key collection sheet.
  3. Once all keys are obtained, you can award them with some sort of reward like free time or their favorite snack.

Easy and low prep, just print your copies, and you will be good to go.

No Locks are needed.
