This activity incorporates the 2-5-8 student learning menu structure, which allows the students to complete the problems that they CHOOSE as long as they add up to the number of points that you wish (I usually pick in between 30 and 40 points). The questions get a little more difficult as the point value increases, but the students have the choice to complete any combination that they want to get the total point value that you assign. The catch is that they must do at least one problem from each point value.
