Description

This download is a 2-D Geometry Riddles Activity ! Students can practice their 2-D geometry skills with this in class or in home.

HOW DO I USE THIS?
1.Print off all sheets.
2.Cut and Laminate each riddle.
3.Keep the “Teacher Answer Key” for records and give each student a “Student Answer Key” for them to write down their answers/guesses.

HOW CAN I USE THIS IN THE CLASSROOM?
You can use this in many different ways.
1. Scavenger Hunt – Place these around the room and have students solve for the shapes. Once solved, look for the next corresponding number.
2. Math Centre – Place these in a box and have students work in groups to solve the riddles and write their answers on the Student Answer Key.
3. Class Activity – Place one card on a different desk and have students start at a desk. Students will work their way through all desks to complete all riddles while writing their answers on the Student Answer Key.


Includes:
-An Answer Key for Teachers/Educators
-A blank Answer Key for Students to fill in
-10 riddles to figure out 'What shape am i?"
-Information page

-During a Geometry Unit

My students found these to be really fun to guess. I used them with different groups of students and it was fun to see how each of the groups were different in which ones they got right and which ones they struggled with. I would definitely recommend this resource.
