These FREE 2-DIGIT MULTIPLICATION PRACTICE WORKSHEETS allows your students to have a visual guide into the process of 2-digit to 1 digit vertical multiplication and 2-digit to 2-digit vertical multiplication.
How to use:
Page 1 and 2 (2-digit to 1-digit Multiplication)
- The second factor is colored blue. This corresponds to the blue boxes that signifies where the factor's product is supposed to be written.
- The items to be answered gradually increase in difficulty to get your students accustomed to the multiplication process.
Page 3-5
- The second factors are colored blue and red.
- The first digit to be multiplied is colored blue. Blue boxes at the bottom corresponds to where the digit's products are meant to be written.
- The second digit to be multiplied is colored red. Red boxes beneath the blue boxes corresponds to where the digit's products are meant to be written.
- The items to be answered gradually increase in difficulty to get your students accustomed to the multiplication process.
I encourage you to introduce the lesson in the same way before introducing this practice activity. This process helps my students a lot and I hope they will help your class too!
