Description
I think it’s to a student’s advantage to know and be able to use both the traditional algorithm of multiplication plus the partial products method of multiplication. Having this knowledge will increase their understanding and be effective in improving their efficiency while multiplying.
This product gives the students many opportunities to try both methods.
Because of the incremental approach used, each set increases in difficulty. Set 3 is the most challenging of the trio of companion products (Sets 1 and 2).
