This super fun competition among students helps to increase addition skills while providing healthy competition in the classroom. This is a super simple and great game to play for addition practice and to help master addition skills.

Students Need: whiteboard markers

Directions:

• Split students into 2 teams
• Have teams stand in a line in front of the board
• Students need to have a whiteboard maker
• Flip to an addition slide
• Have students answer an addition problem and then go to the back of the line so the next student in the line can answer an addition problem (repeat until all problems are answered)
• The team who finishes first with all the correct answer wins the point
• The team with the most points after the 9 rounds wins
