Description
Do your students struggle with 2 digit by 2 digit multiplication using the algorithm? Do they line up their numbers when showing their work? Do they know where to carry their numbers? Do they know their multiplication facts well enough to multiply large numbers fluently?
If your students struggle with the multiplication algorithm, this is the product for you. The scaffold boxes help students learn where to place their numbers when multiplying. The boxes also serve to help in self-checking. The list to the right of the page reminds students to list their multiples to make the whole process easier. Counting dots are included to help students list their multiples if they struggle with their facts (Level 1 only). These scaffolded, leveled activities will help your struggling students build confidence in solving multiplication problems.
