Promote your school library resources to parents and advocate for your library program with these printable welcome letters and reminders.

This product is intended to start the year with print communication and move to digital- or social media-only communication for the rest of the school year. When combined with the included suggestions for social media posts, you can create an easy-to-maintain stream of communication that grows support for your school library program.

Product Contents:

Four (4) different, colorful newsletters to introduce parents to the library procedures & resources (2-3 pages each, editable in Microsoft Word .docx file format)

  • Kindergarten version
  • 1st Grade version
  • 2nd and 3rd Grades version
  • 3rd to 6th Grades version

Extra graphics are included to customize the number of books students can check out and what day they have library:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Cycle Days 1-12
  • Generic message to check the library schedule

Library Class Day Reminder (1 page, editable in Microsoft Word .docx file format)

K-2 Library Treasure Store program introduction with 5 different theme options (also editable in Microsoft Word .docx file format)

  • Blast Off with Reading / Outer Space theme
  • Books ARRR Great / Pirates theme
  • Camp Read S'more theme
  • Go Bananas with Books / Jungle theme
  • Diving into Books / Under the Sea theme
