This data packet is a compilation of information where educators can test and chart student success and growth using the Released STAAR tests and the TEKS (Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills), or Texas Curriculum. The packet contains directions and weblinks, an individual student profile, and a class profile for recording data. With this information, any educator will be able to access their unique data and make the professional decisions needed to create plans of action for student success.
The adult would give the students the Released test and map the results on these documents to professionally plan a Tiered Curriculum designed for growth for each student and each class. The process can be completed to identify skills needing more help, or mastery, at the beginning and middle of the school year, and prior to state testing dates, to concentrate on lacking skills, and to reinforce testing skills.
