Description

This download contains 25 *digital* writing prompts for the month of December. There are a variety of prompts included, such as sentence starters, questions about being trustworthy, prompts about the 5 Senses, creative writing about holidays and non fiction writing. These are the same prompts from my paper-based resources, but now formatted in a Google Slides presentation so that you can easily send and assign them to your students! These are great for distance learning as well.

When you download this file, you will have access to two Google Slides Presentations. One contains the individual student prompts. Each slide has the prompt in a clear and easy to read font, as well as a spot for students to type their response. The second presentation contains the Monthly Writing Prompt 'Calendar' where all of the prompts for the month are on one slide. There are options and instructions for students to type their responses to the prompts. Instructions are included in the teacher file on how to access each set and make a copy in your Google Drive.

I have also included a student tutorial for how to add Google Drawings to their responses!

Be sure to check out this blog post I wrote that contains a tutorial for how to assign a small set of Google Slides (like these Writing Prompts!) in your Google Classroom.
