My students love these bookmarks. I printed it double sided, one side in English and one side in Spanish so they can refer back to it in their dominant language. I teach the strategy either as a whole group or small group and model how to use the bookmark. I give each group one bookmark at the time based on the skill they are learning or practicing. They keep the bookmarks in their book baggie and use it during independent reading time or to as support to take notes, complete worksheets or writing prompts. They also use it when discussing their ideas with their partners or groups.
