Description

2D Real Life Shapes Puzzles are a simple, fun way to review and to reinforce the recognition of 2D Shapes found in real life.

When to Use: I use these puzzles during my Math lessons on 2D Shapes. Sometimes I use them as a warmup to a lesson and sometimes as reinforcement during / after a lesson.

I also use these puzzles in numeracy centres. Students put together the puzzles. When they have finished, they read the shape names to me or a friend.

Easy to Prep: print, cut, laminate, and learn!

There are 15 3-piece puzzles and

15 5-piece puzzles in this resource.

The following shapes are covered: star, heart, circle, oval, triangle, square, rectangle, trapezoid, diamond, parallelogram, rhombus, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, and octagon.

All puzzles are created in colour (color) and black and white.
