A PAPERLESS option for the socially distanced classroom, this self-checking DIGITAL Google Form™ quiz for 2G3 Partitioning Shapes Into 2, 3, & 4 Equal Parts is a teacher timesaver! Questions have already been formatted with a mix of both multiple choice and short answer responses. Please read the product description in its entirety for additional information.

PLEASE NOTE: You are purchasing links to a Google Form™ you can copy, edit (if you so desire), push out to your students (via Classroom is best), and see immediate feedback! NO student worksheets or PDFs are included in this digital resource. The quiz consists of 24 digital task card prompts divided into sections of 4-5 questions so as to not visually overwhelm students.

STANDARDS ADDRESSED:

  • 2.G.A.3 - Partition circles and rectangles into two, three, or four equal shares, describe the shares using the words halves, thirds, half of, a third of, etc., and describe the whole as two halves, three thirds, four fourths. Recognize that equal shares of identical wholes need not have the same shape.
  • 3.G.A.2 - Partition shapes into parts with equal areas. Express the area of each part as a unit fraction of the whole. For example, partition a shape into 4 parts with equal area, and describe the area of each part as 1/4 of the area of the shape.

TEACHER DIRECTIONS: This resource was created using Google Forms™. You must have a Google email (Gmail) account. To access this resource, you’ll need to allow TpT to add it to your Google Drive™. Having a Google Classroom™ account will help you stay organized and easily assign quizzes to students.
