Get your second graders excited to practice new skills and review old skills with these fall themed CCSS aligned math task cards. This resource includes 6 sets of fall-themed task cards (16 cards per set for a total of 96 task cards) covering skip counting, 2 digit subtraction without regrouping, word problems to 100 without regrouping, comparing 3 digit numbers, using data to create line plots and writing numbers from expanded form.
This resource includes both printable and digital versions for easy classroom use. The digital version is preloaded onto Google Slides making it easy to assign and use with students. The printable version includes color task cards, making it easy to print and use in your classroom.
While these task cards are labeled as "for September" they are easily integrated into any classroom math center during any month of the school year.
Practice Skills in this Spring Bundle:
1. 2 Digit Subtraction Without Regrouping: students will solve horizontal subtraction equations without needing to ungroup.
2. Comparing 3 Digit Numbers: students will complete a comparison equation by finding the 3 digit correct number.
3. Creating Line Plots Using Data Sets: students will create a line plot based off a fall themed data set.
4. Expanded Form of 3 Digit Numbers: students will determine the number form based off seeing a number in expanded form.
5. Word Problems to 100 Without Regrouping: students will read fall themed word problems to 100 and solve without regrouping.
6. Skip Counting by 5's, 10's and 100's: students will determine the missing number or numbers shown in a skip counting pattern.
*ALL task cards are available in PRINTABLE AND DIGITAL forms. Print and add to your math center or assign through Google for an interactive learning experience.
How to use these resources in your classroom:

- Distance Learning: Assigning this resource to be used remotely has never been easier! If students have access to their Google accounts at home, they can use this resource with the family or as extra practice at home.
- Independent Practice: allow students to use these task cards independently during their math block or morning work! They can solve problems on their own or work together with a partner. Each set includes an answer key, allowing students to self assess.
- Write the Room: Hang these task cards around your classroom and allow students to travel and solve each problem on their answer keys.
