Description

These place value Order and Compare 3-digit Numbers task cards provide an interactive and enjoyable way for first graders to learn and master place value skills.

Students will put compare greatest and least amounts then place the 3-digit numbers into the correct order on their task cards.

Recording sheets for your students are provided in you require a hard copy of your student's work.

I use these in my classroom as an alternative to worksheets if my students find them too overwhelming. The task cards provide short structured activities that provide my students with a learning style that suits their needs.

Using task boxes has been a game changer in my classroom. My students have gained such independence in their learning and there has been more engagement from all my students - all with varying levels of need.

This 'Order and Compare 3-digit numbers' resource comes with visual directions for your students so that they too can develop their own ability to self-direct their learning.

The confidence of my students has grown in math and they are now asking to do more math daily because of the task boxes and the fact that they now see math as fun!

These math Place Value Order and Compare task box activities can also be used as a reinforcer to your teaching, a fast finisher activity, enrichment groups, small group or pair work ,or independent work stations

Use everyday for repetition to embed concepts for those students who require it.
