WHAT IS A BOOM™ DECK?

A Boom™ Deck is a set of digital task cards.

Are you working toward a 1:1 classroom? Do you have devices but aren’t always sure how to keep students engaged with meaningful content? Look no further—Boom™ decks are engaging, interactive, and require no prep!

Cards may be presented in a randomized order or in a scaffolded sequence, depending on the deck design. When a student selects an answer, it is immediately marked correct (green) or incorrect (red), and the deck advances automatically. These built-in features make learning engaging, interactive, and efficient.

WHAT IS NEEDED:

To use Boom™ decks, you must be connected to the Internet.

Boom™ decks play on modern browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge). Apps are also available for Android, iPads, iPhones, and Kindle Fire devices.

For security and privacy, adults must have a Boom Learning account to assign and use Boom™ decks.

You can assign decks using Fast Pins, which allow students to play and receive instant feedback. For additional features—such as tracking student progress—you will need a premium Boom Learning account. New users are offered a free trial of the premium version.
