Description

Get ready for an exciting adventure! In this 3 Digit Addition With Regrouping Escape Room Math Activity, students must answer questions about adding 3 digit numbers with regrouping and crack secret codes to escape before time runs out. This engaging, hands-on activity challenges students while making learning interactive and fun.

Perfect For: Distance learning, morning work, math review, math centers, test prep, sub plans, early finishers, substitutes, and homework.

Please Note: This activity includes 20 editable multiple-choice questions on the topic and does NOT include reading passages or informational content. Students will need prior knowledge of the topic to answer the questions. However, it can also be used as a self-guided learning activity, where students look up answers online or in textbooks, helping them quickly learn while engaging with the questions. All questions are fully editable. A PowerPoint template is provided, allowing you to customize the questions: add text, insert images, and adjust the layout.

How It Works:

Students will navigate through 5 stations with 4 questions & 1 decoder each (20 questions & 5 decoders in total). At each station, they must correctly answer a series of questions, use their answers to decode a secret number, and then unlock the next level of the escape room. Students can work independently or in teams.

  • 25 Station Cards: 20 multiple choice question cards & 5 decoder cards (in 2 versions: large full sized and small 4 per page).
