3 Digit Subtraction - With Regrouping Boxes - 3.NBT.A.2

Use these scaffolded worksheets to help students with 3 digit subtraction!

  • The first worksheet includes subtraction problems that require NO regrouping.
  • The second worksheet asks students to regroup once, either with the ones and tens or tens and hundreds.
  • The third worksheet includes subtraction problems that require regrouping twice.
  • The last worksheet asks students to subtract across zeros.
  • Boxes are used on all worksheets as a visual to help them remember to regroup either once or twice!
  • All worksheets have labeled ones, tens, and hundreds place. The ones are colored slightly darker as another visual reminder to subtract the ones place first!
  • Answer keys are included!

BONUS - An additional file is included with blank boxes that can be used to laminate or put in sleeves to make your own problems!
