Description

Bumble, the Bumbling Bumble Bee is an original, humorous and melodic work for Piano, Singers and Assorted Insects.

Bumble was written for children to perfom and it premiered with just four. However, it has many songs where any number of children can be involved; so... you can have as many centipedes, grasshoppers and bees as you like.

It takes around 20 minutes to perform.

Synopsis

There once was a little bumble bee called Bumble. He loved flowers and flying and finding delicious nectar. One day, he ran into a glass window and, upon then crashing onto a particularly hard stone, was knocked out. When he awoke, he didn’t know who he was. This is a story about his adventures and how he eventually found out who and what he truly was.

A Youtube video of the premier performance is here:

In addition to the above, there is underscore music to help the action along.

The piano part is not difficult, but it needs someone who can play and can get the sense of the music. Even I (Tony) don't play exactly what's there some of the time.
