Description

Make 3D shapes a fun and engaging lesson with these real life theme task card activities. Students need to identify what 3D shape the object is, and then match it to the same 3D Shape on the side of the task card.

This is a fun way for your students to work on recognizing 3D shapes in different situations and being able to match them together. These task cards will be a great addition to your individual task boxes and math centers.

Instructions

  • Print out the task cards
  • Cut out and laminate each of the individual task cards
  • Students use a clothing pen or dry wipe pen to select their answer out of 2 options.

The 3D shapes included are;

  • Cone
  • Cube
  • Cylinder
  • Pyramid
  • Rectangular Prism
  • Sphere
  • Triangular Prism

There are 4 task cards included for each 3D shape.

These task cards fit perfectly into photo storage boxes - making it easy for you to stay organised and keep all the pieces together.
