Description
This hands-on activity is a fun way to help your children recognize and sort 3D shapes (solid shapes). These cute and colorful cards can be used as a whole class “circle time” activity or in small group instruction. They can also be put in a math center for independent work.
This set includes 7 shape headings and 42 colored shape cards. The 3D shapes included in this set are sphere, cube, cone, cylinder, rectangular prism, triangular prism, and pyramid.
Note: I have included two different options of shape images for the heading cards: solid shapes and shapes with dotted lines to show three dimensions. I have also included a “rectangular prism” heading and a “cuboid” heading for you to choose from depending on which terminology you use in your classroom.
